Carrie Soto is Back

Carrie Soto Is Back

This is the third Taylor Jenkins Reid book that I have read after Malibu Rising and The Seven Husbands of Evelyn Hugo, respectively. I have been waiting weeks to get my hands on it, especially after the mention of Carrie in MR. Today, I finally was able to get a copy. I think I was more excited to read it than I realized because I finished it in about 8hrs. Ms. Jenkins Reid definitely knows how to keep a reader entertained, and I couldn't put the book down! I have no clue if it was intentional or not, but the character of Carrie reminded me a bit of Venus and Serena Williams. It is interesting that this book came out just as Serena is considering retirement in the near future. I love that Carrie was a strong-willed character that didn't take any BS from anyone (probably in part due to how her strong-willed father raised her). I hope to get a chance to listen to the audiobook in the future as well, as the two other audiobooks I have read of Ms. Reid's book's have been fabulous. I cannot wait for her next book to come out, and I hope it is soon!!
